Josefine Hoffman winner of the Lövsta Future Challenge International Freestyle!

The international U25 riders proved today, that they indeed are the dressage stars of tomorrow. The young talented riders showed both the judges and the audience some wonderful rides to well composed and modern music.

It was Sweden’s Emma Jönsson with Emma Packendorffs black beauty Donizetti 39 who delivered a beautiful round early on in the class and took care of the lead. With her percentage 74.225% she did put some pressure on the other coming riders. But the Danes rose the level even a bit higher. Josefine Hoffman and the energetic gelding Hoennerups Driver showed the audience some star quality. The judges liked what they saw and rewarded the pair with 74.617% which resulted in a victory for Josefine Hoffman.

—“We had a very nice round today and I’m very happy with my horse even though we had a few mistakes in there. I’ve ridden him for three years now and it nice to get the chance to develop in a big arena like this!” says Josefine Hoffman

It was an even battle between Denmark’s two riders, Victoria E. Vallentin tried to challenge Josefine about the victory but with 74.558% she ended up on second place today. Best Swedish rider was Emma Jönsson with Donizetti 39 who took care of the third place on 74.225%.

—“I’m very happy with my horse and I had an amazing feeling during the ride today. I love competing in a big arena like this. Today I also did my personal highest percentage ever and I value this a lot. This is a fantastic start of the season and my next competition will be Lövsta Future Challenge first qualification in Strömsholm.” Said Emma Jönsson.

Sweden’s second rider, Isabella Tovek with her mare Happiness 26, danced in the arena today and was rewarded with 72.842% by the judges, which led to a fourth place.
